Germany, Ordnungspolizei. An Early Police Dress Bayonet, Unit-Marked Long Version, By Paul Weyersberg & Co. Auction Archive he was apprehended by City(Schutzpolizei Bajonett). An early and exceptionally well preserved Schutzpolizei (Municipal Police) dress bayonet, measuring 555 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 410 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and unspoiled edges, and with a fuller running the majority of the length of each side. Stamped onto the reverse ricasso is a makers mark of PAWECO for the firm of Paul Weyersberg & Co., Solingen.
